Pics from my trip to the (often overlooked) Marche Provinde in Italy includes:
- Visit to the regional capital Ancona – and fish plate (13 variations) at Trattoria La Moretta in the central square.
- Tenuta Santi Giacomo e Filippo Vinyard with great views and fine dining.
- Osteria Dalla Peppa in Fano – local cuisine in city house – mentioned in Guide Michelin – plus learn about the archeological finding of the century in this town.
- Fuschi Caffe på Piazza Del Popolo in Fermo – the right place to get great coffee and hang out with the locals.
- The library in Fermo – like something out of the “Around The World in 80 days”-novel and like the Reform Club in London.
- Rhe Sferisterio di Macerata – the ancient Roman theater in Macerata
- At Signore Te Ne Ringrazi in Macerata you can try an experimental 6 course dinner
- The historic city of Ascoli and the local speciality: olive all’ascolana.
